The statistics of the EPA showed 40% of the garbage collected in Taiwan can be recycled and reused and 25% of which, if sorted properly, can reduce the environmental impact, reduce the expenditure needed to dispose all the waste and extend the lifespan of a incineration plant or landfill.

According to the announcements of the EPA, the following items should be recycled: iron or aluminum food or beverage can, glass bottles or jars, gable top cartons, plastic containers, containers of agricultural chemicals, dry battery, motor vehicles, tires, lead accumulator, lubrication oil, electronic appliances, IT products and fluorescent lamp.

The EPB encourage everyone to recycle everyday to save resources even though the resource recycle trunk will not collect the recycled waste everyday. Only when everyone works to recycle our resources can we help save resources and reduce waste.
Currently, each town and village has resource recycle trunk to collect recycled waste. Please find out when the trunks will come to collect recycled waste in your area for your convenience.
